IOTA SIGMA RHO IS STRICTLY AN AWARENESS ORGNIZATION! WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY FUNDS ON BEHALF OF THIS ORGANIZATIONS. WE DO, HOWEVER, CAMPAIGN ON THEIR BEHALF AND STRIVE TO INCREASE THE AWARENESS OF SOLDIERS NEEDS.
The Purple Heart Charity is an organization created to help veterans and their families-not just those who earned the Purple Heart medal. While part of this charity includes processing claims for benefits, finding and assisting homeless veterans, and helping those with disabilities, there are some programs everyone can easily participate in:
Clothing and furniture donations (they pick it up for you, so it's no hassle! Simply call and schedule a convenient time)
Cell Phones for Soldiers is an organization where you can donate your old cell phones to be recycled. For each phone, the organization gets a certain dollar amount to put toward calling cards for military members overseas.

Purple Heart Foundation Month - August 2014
The purple heart is giving to verterans injured in combat as a National Gift for their service. Though honorable, many verterans are left homeless and suffering from various mental disorders having seen war. The Purple Heart Foundation aims to help those verterans who need basic supply. Thanks to our friends at Caledon University/Oxbridge we were able to help over 10 new SecondLife Members last year!
We have been invited back! This time we will be hosting classes for 1 day at various times! **Check Events** for further details.
Each ISigRho will help a new member get the basics; an ao, Non-Bling shoes, skin, hair and show them how to search on Marketplace for items! Come take a course or help us assist a new secondlife member!
